Sounds from Spain is once again participating in the MIL Lisboa 2026 trade show

HOFE, Las Petunias, Paco Pecado, and Queralt Lahoz are the bands selected for this edition, and they will present their musical acts at the Sounds from Spain showcase.

The Spanish delegation will consist of three bands and the companies that represent them: HOFE (Oso Polita), Las Petunias (Sonido Muchacho), Paco Pecado (Montebello Agency), and Queralt Lahoz (CostaFuturo/Say it Loud), who, together with the Independent Phonographic Union —the association coordinating the event—will be in Lisbon once again for this edition to participate in the Showcase.

The companies mentioned above will also participate in the other activities on the professional conference agenda.

The MIL Festival is an international music festival and convention whose objective is to promote popular and contemporary music from Portuguese-speaking countries, with the aim of increasing international awareness and recognition.

It focuses specifically on the Lusophone music market and aims to serve as a platform for international exchange, consisting of two types of programs: the PRO program, reserved for professionals in the national and international music industry, and the artistic program, open to the general public, which strengthens the festival’s live music component by bringing together Portuguese-speaking artists and other international acts.

Following a successful 2025 edition for Spanish talent, Sounds From Spain will once again be present in the Portuguese market through the four showcases mentioned above, as well as a networking event for the Spanish companies that represent them and those attending the event.
