Eva Mcbel, Lady Banana, Lorenzo Soria and Nueve Desconocidos presented their musical proposals at the Sounds From Spain showcase held on September 21 in Hamburg.
In a bid for the internationalization of Spanish music in Europe, Sounds From Spain participated for the first time in the Reeperbahn Festival that took place in Hamburg (Germany) between September 20 and 23, 2023.
The Spanish delegation was composed of four bands and the companies representing them: Eva Mcbel (Altafonte/Emerge Productions), Lady Banana (Subterfuge Records), Lorenzo Soria (Mushroom Pillow/ArticaAgency) and Nine Unknowns (All Nighters), which together with PROMUSICAE- Music Producers of Spain, as the coordinating association of the activity, traveled to Hamburg to participate in the Showcase that took place on September 21 at Mojo Jazz Caféand a reception for professionals on the same day at the club at 8:00 pm.
The Reeperbahn Festival is the largest venue festival in Europe and the biggest European platform for international pop culture and the music industry since 2006. It is both a stage for international talent and a forum for discussion of current developments in the global music industry. This market is a source of inspiration that shapes the future of music and society and whose impact extends beyond the days of its celebration.
This activity was accompanied by a generic promotion and communication campaign that ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones carried out at various European festivals, including Reeperbahn, in order to reinforce the image of Sounds From Spain and increase the visibility of music created in Spain, with the support of AIE – Artistas, Intérpretes y Ejecutantes, which will support the travel expenses of the participating artists through travel grants.
The concert will feature performances from four artists including: Elane, Izaro, Maikel Delacalle and Maruja Limón on July 10th at DROM

Barry B, Ginebras, Israel B and La La Love You are the groups selected to represent Spanish music in Bogota.
