Call for companies and bands to participate in LAMC – Latin Alternative Music Conference –in its on-site edition.

 

LAMC is the most important Spanish-language alternative music event in the U.S. and in 2024 it celebrates 25 years. This conference has positioned itself as a showcase for new trends in the Latin alternative genre that incorporates a variety of musical influences ranging from rock and pop to rap, electronic music and traditional Latin American sounds.

 

Among its attendees, LAMC brings together international artists and important figures in the entertainment industry from the U.S., Latin America and Europe, as well as major media out lets in English and Spanish. The conference stands out for its professional and international character, and maximum exposure of participating artists and companies is guaranteed.

In previous editions, more than 1,250 industry leaders gathered to participate in the activities organized by LAMC with the initiative to bring alternative music in Spanish to a wider and more general audience. The 2024 edition will be the 8th edition in which Sounds from Spain participates.

 

Spanish participation will be as follows:

 

• Meeting place for Spanish companies at the conference, as well as promotion of joint participation of companies and bands.
• Sounds From Spain concert for 4 Spanish bands with a duration of 30 minutes per band on one of the various stages of LAMC. The selection of bands will be governed by LAMC criteria.

 

ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones is organizing this action within the framework of Sounds from Spain, a platform to support the internationalization of the Spanish music industry, which also includes INAEM, AIE, Fundación SGAE, A.R.T.E., PROMUSICAE and UFI.
