ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, within the framework of Sounds From Spain, a platform to support the internationalization of the Spanish music industry (also comprising the Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música (INAEM), the Fundación SGAE, the Sociedad de Artistas Intérpretes y Ejecutantes AIE, the Asociación de Representantes Técnicos del Espectáculo (A.R.T.E.), the Productores de Música de España (PROMUSICAE) and the Unión Fonográfica Independiente (UFI)) will organize the participation of Spanish companies. at BIME Bogotá,May 8-11, 2024 in Bogotá, Colombia.

BIME is industry, trends and innovation. An activity where you can do business, create synergies, meet new talents, share knowledge and discover the latest developments in the Cultural and Creative Industries.

Bogota became the international music capital in 2023 with the 2nd and successful edition of BIME, the great international meeting of the music industry in the Americas. The professional meeting was thus consolidated as a window to the world and as a space of union between Europe and America, welcoming in its professional days more than 2,000 attendees including artists, producers, start ups, students and entrepreneurs of all levels, with a broad representation of all components of the value chain.

The Spanish participation with Sounds from Spain can be summarized in the following points:

• Sounds from Spain corner stand: meeting place for companies participating in BIME PRO, and virtual stand in BIME PRO online.
• Showcase for 4 Spanish bands: participation of four bands in the BIME concerts, with a duration of 30 minutes per band. The selection of bands will be governed by BIME criteria, so it will be the organization of the market/festival who will select the 4 bands from among those registered in Mode 2 of this call.
• Speedmeetings session with professionals from the music industry for companies registered for this call

This activity is eligible for co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund.
