Formed in Barcelona in 2018, they have developed the concept of Alternatimba, a fresh and original fusion that blends Afro-Cuban music with rap, funk, and jazz. Their proposal, marked by creativity, aesthetics, and audiovisual language, goes far beyond the traditional band format and has become an artistic movement with its own identity.

Their debut album La Alternatimba (2018) was very well received and took them to festivals such as Couleur Café, the Orange FIC, and Say It Loud. They have sold out shows at Sala Apolo in Barcelona and Sala Villanos in Madrid, while receiving excellent reviews from outlets such as Le Monde. Throughout their career, they have collaborated with renowned artists including Alexander Abreu, Mayito Rivera, Telmary Díaz, Original Elías, and Big Lois.

In March 2025, they release Cuestión de Tiempo, a 16-track album featuring top-class collaborations and a powerful sound. The record was mixed in Havana and mastered by Orestes Águila, Javier Raez, and Germán Landaeta, all recognized at the Latin Grammy Awards. That same year, they were selected to perform at the prestigious WOMEX 2025 in Tampere (Finland) and confirmed for the Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana (Cuba) in January 2026, consolidating their international projection.
