This Basque-Argentine trio has been a seismic force in the rock world for more than two decades. Its sound, rooted in influences from the 60s and 70s, mixed with punk, garage, heavy psych, post-punk and surf rock, has garnered praise from industry giants such as producers John Agnello (Sonic Youth) and Tony Visconti (David Bowie), who have collaborated on his projects in the United States.

Led by the couple Martín and Coni, they have been compared by David Fricke – editor of Rolling Stone magazine – with groups such as The Cramps, X or The Who. And that’s because their sound mixes the intensity of garage rock and rock and roll roots with post-punk, noise and dark psychedelia, all delivered with a striking and visceral energy.

His live concerts are recommended as an experience that deserves to be lived. So much so that they were the best band at SXSW 2009 according to David Fricke and The Austin Chronicle and Chicago Tribune.
